VT Jiu Jitsu is the creation of its Chief Instructor, former World Champion and UFC veteran, Leigh Remedios. Brought together from reality based systems, combat fitness conditioning and professional competitive experience for almost 20 years, Leigh’s vision is based on tried, tested and true principles of effectiveness in self-defense and competition as well as fun and efficiency in fitness and conditioning for adults and children.

At VT Jiu Jitsu, our goal is to offer you the very best in Mixed Martial Arts training, concentrate on one discipline or train in all of them. We accommodate every experience level or personal goal in the arts of; VT Jiu Jitsu, No-Gi submission grappling, Olympic Wrestling, Thai Boxing and MMA. Through the practice of these Martial Arts, you will increase physical fitness while learning and improving self-esteem, concentration, discipline and self-control. As you improve your ranking from white to black shirt, you will gain knowledge and experience that will last a lifetime.
