Kids Jiujitsu
We teach our younger members techniques from the VTJJ syllabus, including takedowns, holds and escapes. Profiency in skill is improved through drilling and sparring and we warm down with a couple of games and a stretch off.
Kids Kickboxing
This class focuses on the striking techniques of Martial Arts. This class also includes training physical attrubutes such as fitness, speed, coordination and balance.
JiuJitsu
This class is the grappling side of MMA. We teach takedowns, holds, escapes and submissions. The main emphasis is technique and skill over size and strength.
MMA
We cover striking techniques in this class, both standing and on the ground. There is also a strong focus on fitness; as with most other sports, fitness and stamina are very important in Mixed Martial Arts.
Conditioning
There are a number of physical attributes important to Mixed Martial Arts and we train them in this class. Focus varies from week to week - one class may be plyometric training to improve explosive power, another could be agility training.
Fight Club
Sparring! This is where students get the opportunity to get any extra sparring they want to fit in.
